I really HOPE they sign him, even if it’s as a 3rd QB. I bet anyone that he
could be an excellent quarterback in the league if he would just get
another chance. He can prove all his critics wrong.

Has more playoff wins than most current QB’s so yea there is that
I’m very surprised tebow hasn’t gotten more shots before this one. You can
look at his inaccuracy and poor release and say this guy sucks. Well he
doesn’t because he is a winner. Tebow led the 2011 Broncos to a 7-4 record,
and even a playoff win. He succeeded at the end of games showing his clutch
factor. In this league the main goal is to win, and tebow can do that. Sure
he isn’t a franchise QB, or all star but he wins games, sloppily or
gracefully. Let’s also not forget he threw 17 TDs to only 9 interceptions
in his career, and did a great job of running the football. He deserves
another shot. The Eagles are the perfect fit for him since Bradford could
get hurt, and Sanchez could struggle, but I see him as a decoy or a short
yardage guy to tuck the ball in or even throw since the defense will be
more focused on the sneak. He also fits the Eagles scheme. I wouldn’t call
tebow a bad QB or a good QB, but I would call him a winning QB, and a
decent one too.
Only thing he can’t do is throw. Um… isn’t that the most crucial thing
you need to be able to do to be a qb in the NFL?
When Bradford (inevitably) gets injured and Sanchez embarrasses himself
again, who’s gonna be laughing then?

Stephen A Smith actually makes a good point at the end. You can’t expect to
be a starter when you suck 55 minutes of the game, because when that
happens, you won’t be in most games. Luckily enough for Tebow, he had a
really good defense & benefitted off of playing vs either trash or injury
riddled teams & had a ton of luck on his side in 2011. The guy is fucking
trash.

Tim Tebow should be in the NFL and a least be given a shot as a backup QB.
Russell Wilson has put the running QB debate to bed, though it should have
been long ago. Fran Tarkenton proved way back that they can get to Super
Bowls. With the right or certain type of offense, a more mobile/running QB
can win a Super Bowl. People need to stop hating on Tim Tebow because he’s
not the typical cookie cutter fantasy QB.
