7. A few thoughts/Opinions I have: When it comes to riots, the media doesn’t
   give a shit if it’s white people rioting, but when it comes to rioting over
   PoC (people of colour) who’re DYING because of police brutality, suddenly
   the news actually cares.

   They say all the people rioting are taking it too far but don’t you think
   breaking someone’s voice box and SEVERING someones spine is a bit too far?
   That’s what the cop did to #FreddieGray.

   Also people (the media, like CNN and Fox news, aka the racism capital of
   television) keep saying shit like “What would Martin Luther Jr. say about
   the riots?” First of all, MLK wouldn’t even be able to say ANYTHING because
   he was killed… by a white man. Second of all, MLK also said, and I quote;
   “A riot is the language of the unheard” which is saying basically, ‘You
   aren’t gonna listen to our peaceful protests, so we’re gonna break some
   shit and burn a few cars.”

   Really though, the most they’re doing is stealing food and water, but why
   would they steal food and water, idk idk, Maybe because the city shut down
   schools, which is depriving little kids of the only meal they might get
   that day, so sorry that people are stealing food but people need to eat.
   WHY’RE YOU ACTING LIKE INANIMATE OBJECTS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAT HUMAN
   LIFE, ANYWAYS? THE COPS ARE KILLING PEOPLE AND YOU ARE ACTING LIKE A
   WASHING MACHINE AND WINDOWS ARE THE REAL ISSUE! THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT WON’T
   BE ABLE TO GO HOME TO THEIR FAMILIES, OR TELL THEIR MOTHER THEY LOVE THEM,
   OR HAVE KIDS AND YOU’RE SAYING SOME BROKEN LIGHTBULBS AND STREET LAMPS ARE
   WHAT WE NEED TO FOCUS ON!

   And though I could go on and on and on, I only have one more thing to say,
   and then you all can hate on me as much as you want…

   Saying “Not all cops are bad” is the stupidest thing ever. YES, not ALL
   cops are bad, but isn’t the point of being a cop to be a good person? NO
   cops should be bad, that’s kind of the reason you’re a cop??? To bust the
   bad guys? I’m sorry but you can’t say that there’s no race issue in the
   police force.

   half a percent of police officers are like that.

11. Riots are absolutely ridiculous, they don’t fix anything, they just cause
    problems and do nothing for your cause because it projects the image that
    everyone for your cause is a crazy lunatic that wants to destroy things. It
    also leads to innocent people getting hurt, people who might even be for
    the same cause as you but just don’t want to riot.

    And as for riots that are literally for a pointless cause like sports? That
    I understand even less. I was IN Vancouver when that riot happened, and it
    was one of the scariest experiences of my life. I thought I was going to
    die.

12. I agree with Kendrick Lamar doe.
    We should respect ourselves before expecting respect.
    No self respecting person would destroy police cars for no purpose other
    than the fact that they are angry. We (Particularly black people, but not
    limited to) need to look in the mirrors and find other ways of getting our
    point across.
    For starters, we should respect other black people. By black people killing
    other black people, we are saying it’s OK for the policeman to do it.
    Respect yourself, respect others, and the world will respect you 😀

    Also, call each other “Negus” not “niggas”

13. I’m with the guy that said rioting doesn’t get you anywhere you damage
    your own community and you have see that everyday afterwards. I believe
    these people have the right to be angry in these police brutality riots,
    but they’re ruining property and that’s not going to fix anything they’re
    angry about.

    which they trespassed and destroyed property?
