Harry Kewell has unleashed an explosive response to former teammate Robbie Slater’s controversial comments that his Australia career should be over, after requesting a right of reply on FOX Sports FC. Kewell issued his tirade to panellists, including Slater, in a telephone interview on FOX Sports FC in direct response to Slater’s article in The Sunday Telegraph newspaper that quoted an unnamed Socceroos teammate as saying that Kewell should “f… off” from the Socceroos. Slater maintained that one of Kewell’s Socceroos teammates (who wished to remain anonymous) had told Slater that Kewell was no longer wanted in the side.
