It’s an unusual way to get attention, but students from Chabad at Binghamton University are hoping that their two and half minute strike-a-pose stunt will strike up the conversation on campus about their Shabbat 1500 event this Friday. Curious glances and confused faces were just what the freeze flash mob expected. The students hope the unusual moment of silence and frozen poses during the campus’ busiest hour will create an interest in their Mega Shabbat Celebration. Starting in 1996, the first Chabad Shabbat dinner had a goal of attracting 1000 but only served 400 people. Fifteen years later, things have changed. For more photos & videos please visit http
