Am i the only one who spotted the mistake, she said that dead fish washed
up (underneath it said may 2012), she then says “a month later” and
underneath it says 2014. Its around 1:15.

Why would a country that is clearly not ready to host the Oympics ever
volunteer to host the Olympics? It’ll just result in a disaster and,
considering the crime rate, probably people getting
hurt/robbed/raped/killed. No offenses, brasilians, but when the crime rate
is so bad that there is alot of gang violence to a point where they’re even
shooting down police helicopters then i think your country is not safe
enough to host such an event. Not to mention your government ignoring your
citizens demonstrating about the miss-use of tax money by using it for the
Olympics instead of using it for better education / safety when it’s
    clearly needed there.

I’m brazilian, living near Rio de Janeiro, and I can assure: They are not
even close to be ready for the Olympics

Rio is a hellish city, and the criminality is out of control

Brazil is a know shithole. The people to blame are the people who elected
    Rio.

It seems as if every two years, there is an increased crisis in preparing
the host summer or winter games. Each time the host city is worse off than
    the last city.

If Russia can host olympics, anyone can

Almost every country that isn’t Anglo Saxon/Celtic white or east Asian is a
dump of a place full of rioting, corruption, gang violence, rape, murder
    and self victimization shit holes.
And all they do is blame the white man. News flash lads, east Asia was
stuck in endless wars and colonization and yet they still managed to keep
their shit together and push forward, not all but most.
South Korea exited a civil war and rapidly emerged as an economic power
    house.
japan was nuked by america and became a economic super power.
Western Europe exited a all out war and emerged as major economic powers.

I don’t know why would anyone go to Brazil except for guys lol
Let’s be honest, it’s a shithole, in a way. Less shitty than african
    countries but still.
meh. idk. I wouldn’t go there for Olympics.

  24. Alex Black

If America weren’t the sole hegemonic superpower in the region, keeping
south America firmly under its boot so it won’t develop into a competitor,
then the Olympics in Rio – and Rio generally – would be awesome. South
America would be free to develop however its people wished without being
trapped like animals in the Yankees’ lasso.

“The IOC remain upbeat about the status of Olympic preparation;” read:
Brazilian officials bribed the IOC officials not to switch venues. Yeah, no
matter what they do, that river is not going to be ready in time.
